Included warranty for new custom computer systems
Computer Heaven provides a 1 year parts warranty and a lifetime labor warranty on hardware repairs for new custom computer systems. If during the 1-year warranty period a part needs to be repaired or replaced, Computer Heaven at its discretion will either replace or repair the part and not charge you for the labor as long as Computer Heaven originally installed the part in the system and the replacement part is provided by or purchased at Computer Heaven. If it is within 30 days of your purchase date we will replace the item with an identical or equivalent item in stock assuming such an item is available. If the item is not available, or if it is over 30 days from your purchase date, we will ship the defective part to either our supplier or the manufacturer for repair or replacement. It can take anywhere from 2 – 4 weeks for parts replacements depending on the supplier/manufacturer of an item. When an item is replaced under warranty the repaired/replaced item will have whatever warranty was left over on the old item from the original purchase date only. In other words, your warranty will still expire at the end of the warranty period from the original purchase date. You do not get a new warranty on items replaced under warranty . The warranty simply continues on from the original purchase date. This warranty does not cover the labor on upgrades. Software problems are not covered under warranty. External items such as monitors, printers, scanners etc. are not covered under the lifetime labor warranty but are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Computer Heaven is happy to ship off items for you within 1 year from the date of purchase.
Turn Around Time for Standard Repairs
Computer Heaven strives to complete your repair as quickly as possible. Normal start time on standard repair is usually 3 to 4 days from the time it is brought in. During certain times of the year you may experience longer waits than usual.
3 Strike Rule
If at any time during the warranty period the warrantied computer has to be serviced more than 3 times for the same hardware problem, Computer Heaven at its discretion will replace the entire computer. A new computer will be issued of equal or greater specifications to the customer. The new replacement computer will carry the remainder of the warranty with it.
Upgrades
The labor for upgrades is not covered under warranty.

Optional extended warranty for new computer systems
Computer Heaven will warranty all standard parts for 3 years from the date of purchase. The lifetime labor warranty will still apply to all items that you paid Computer Heaven to install. If during the 3 year period a part needs to be repaired or replaced, Computer Heaven at its discretion will either repair the part or replace the part with an in-stock equivalent. If the part in question is not in stock, Computer Heaven will pay for shipping fees to get the part to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. When an item is replaced under warranty the repaired/replaced item will have whatever warranty was left over on the old item from the original purchase date only. In other words, your warranty will still expire at the end of the extended warranty period from the original purchase date. You do not get a new warranty on items replaced under warranty. The warranty simply continues on from the original purchase date.
Turn Around Time for Standard Repairs (for extended warranties only)
All repair work will be treated as priority service. Diagnostics will be guaranteed to start no later than 48 hours after receiving the equipment to be repaired. This only ensures that your diagnostic will be started within a certain time frame. Due to the various natures of problems that may occur, there can be no guarantee on time of completion, particularly if parts must be shipped out for replacement or repair.
Remote Support & Discount On-Site Rates (for extended warranties only)
This support option is available ONLY when your computer is still running and able to get on the internet. This option allows our technicians to assist you via the internet in resolving common computer problems, thus saving you from having to bring your computer to the store. Computer Heaven will include remote support for computers under extended warranty for the duration of the 3 year period. At Computer Heaven’s discretion, a technician will remotely log in to the warrantied computer in order to diagnose and repair problems.* In the event the problem cannot be resolved remotely, the customer will have the option to bring the computer in for priority service or they can choose to have a technician come to them at a discounted rate of 50% of the normal on-site charge. (Current Normal Rates are $85.00 per hour and a $45.00 trip fee. Discounted rates will be $42.50 per hour and $22.50 trip fee).** In the event the problem is determined to be a non warranty issue, standard labor rates will apply.
*A working high speed internet connection is required in order to receive remote service.
**Customer must reside within a 40 mile radius of Computer Heaven for discounted on-site service rates to apply.
Software (For extended warranties only)
Software problems will be covered under a limited basis. Any problem diagnosed as a software problem, including virus infections and windows corruption will be solved by a complete Windows re-installation.*** Data backup and/or recovery is not included under the limited software warranty. Additional fees may apply for data backup.
***A re-installation of Windows will erase any & all data contained on the hard drive of the computer. This includes all data (Favorites (IE/Firefox), pictures, documents, emails saved in Outlook/Outlook Express, music, Quicken, TurboTax, Quickbooks, etc.) & programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quicken, Money, Games, etc.). Any programs that are currently installed on the computer will have to be re-installed after the Windows re-installation. Computer Heaven cannot reload any software on the machine without proper installation CD’s & product keys as required by the manufacturer. Computer Heaven will back up data from the hard drive at the customer’s request only. If data backup is declined, all data will be lost.
Laptop Batteries and Chargers (For extended warranties only)
Computer Heaven will replace the original laptop battery one time during the course of the warranty if it fails. Any replacement batteries will be covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty on the battery. Laptop chargers will only be warrantied for defects or failures. Physical or accidental damage will not be covered under warranty.
Delivery and Setup (optional)
Computer Heaven also offers on-site delivery and setup. When setting up your new computer, a Computer Heaven technician will set up one computer system, including the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. The technician will also organize wires and cables with your cable ties or wraps (wraps and ties are not included). We will install one new software application (software not included), and one new peripheral or external device (device not included). The Computer Heaven technician will configure your new computer to access the internet through your existing Internet Service Provider. The technician will also configure and test one existing email account. Standard delivery and setup fees are $130.00. You may purchase the delivery and setup option at a discounted rate of $85.00 if you purchase it in combination with the 3 year optional extended warranty.
